ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Master of Arts in Teaching
Students desiring admission to the online MAT program must submit the following minimum application requirements:
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicant must be a practicing teacher who is either currently teaching or has previously taught for at least one academic year.
- Official transcripts from all undergraduate work and any graduate coursework that has been completed.
- A copy of your undergraduate transcripts showing the date your degree was conferred and including GPA for all coursework included in the undergraduate degree.
- Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from your principal or immediate supervisor.
- An essay on your philosophy of teaching and learning.
- A completed application.
Following the receipt of all materials, University of Saint Mary will process your application and notify you of your eligibility to enroll. If additional information or clarification is required, an enrollment advisor will contact you by phone or email. All application materials are to be
