MEET OUR FACULTY
Hattie Gilmore, Ed.D.
Hattie Gilmore has been involved in education since 1977. She has a doctorate from the University of Kansas and began her career working in Pre K- 8 classrooms. She has taught nearly every grade level, teaching diverse populations, and taking on leadership roles.
At USM, she has served as the director of the education program at the Overland Park (Kansas) Campus teaching both undergraduate and graduate programs. In 1999, she was involved in developing the curriculum of the new Master of Arts in Teaching program - the first distance education program the university offered.
