Gretchen Wilbur, Ed.D.

Gretchen Wilbur, Ed.D.

Gretchen Wilbur has been a teacher since 1975 and taught at the college level since 1980. She is a professor of education and the associate dean of assessment at USM. Wilbur has a bachelor's degree in psychology from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, and a doctorate in education from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

As director of graduate education program strategic assessment and research, Wilbur oversaw the assessment plan for the University of Saint Mary that received the Council for Higher Education Accreditation Award for Institutional Progress in Student Learning Outcomes. Her recognitions also include the Kansas Award for Excellence Examiner; and the Gender Equity Recognition Award from the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.
