Gillian Chapman, Ed.D.
 

Gillian Chapman has been teaching at USM for six years. She has a bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Central Missouri State University, Spanish licensure through University of Oklahoma, administrator's licensure through University of Missouri at Kansas City, and a doctorate in administration and leadership from
St. Louis University.

Her full-time position is associate superintendent for the Shawnee Mission School District, located in the Kansas suburbs of Kansas City. The district teaches 30,000 students and Chapman is responsible for curriculum, instruction, staff development, media services, special education, career and technical education, title and federal programs, and technology. She has also served as a middle school principal and high school assistant principal.
